Recently I have had the opportunity to work with Makenzie at the Collinsville location on a vehicle loan. Went in to open a checking account. I was the first one there was told to wait for someone. The someone that helped me was a teller that had been waiting on people who arrived after me. Finally she took me into office answered my questions, I was signing the application when she got up and said she needed to help people in line! Again people who arrived after me. Have been with OCCU for nearly 30 years. Have had several loans of various types during this time without ever, not once missing or paying a payment late. Also have top tier credit. Got pre-approved for a car loan that I did NOT go through OCCU to service because Arvest Bank beat the rate by 2 percent. I questioned the 8.14 percentage when the approval came and was told, well rates are just high. I’m beginning to think our 30 year relationship doesn’t really mean that much. Oh, the term and amounts were identical.
