I recently had an amazing experience at the ENT South Buckhead location, and I can't recommend Dr. Sylvester highly enough. *Edited since I received my bill* I was charged for a sinus procedure so the doctor could take a camera and look in my nose / throat for 30 seconds. I was not asked if this was something I wanted to elect into or informed that there would be the additional cost at the time of my appointment. When I called billing to inquire about the charge, they told me that I signed something that was in my paperwork that agreed to the charge, should the doctor use the equipment. One visit took less than 10 min with the doctor, most of it was him sitting entering verbal notes, just to be told what I already know, I have allergies. The fee before insurance for this 10 min visit was almost $1000. That's basically $6000/ hour, and he didn't even buy me a drink first. Anyway, after insurance, I paid out of pocket, almost $500 for advice, and for the doc to look up my nose with a light and call it a procedure. THANKS, doc. From the moment I stepped into ENT of Ga. South, I had my doubts about whether they could address all my concerns. Luckily, PA Sheena recommended me to Dr. Sylvester, and I must say, he has completely won me over. I am truly amazed by how he has managed to make me feel better and truly grasp my condition. I Had a new patient exam here a couple weeks ago, only an exam and consultation was completed. I Had a great visit with Dr Sylvester he was thorough and explained things very well. I then received a bill for over $500 not covered by my insurance which was not explained to me during my visit. The billing department was of no help and quite dismissive and rude, stating they do not have a price list and costs are not discussed with the patient during their visit.
