I feel it’s important to share my experience with the skincare course at Cortiva Institute, though it comes with a heavy heart. While I am grateful for the education I received and pleased with my grades and successful completion of the course, there were several aspects that deeply disappointed me. They cancelled a CE course I signed up for just 1 week before it was scheduled to occur. Despite the payment coming out of my account immediately when I booked it, they told me it would take 2 weeks for my refund to go through. This class was almost half of my last paycheck and that is not money that I can easily get by without. I’m really frustrated with this experience and now I’m turned off of ever using Cortiva for CEs in the future. The chair massage was amazing as the gentleman who did the massage was an instructor at Cortiva. He shared with me his thoughts of why I was getting migraines and how he could tell what was happening in different areas of my back while doing the massage. I will definitely go back for their clinic massage on Saturdays. As for today’s event, It would have been better if they had more people to do the facials and face painting for the little ones. If I could give a no star review I would. I can longer be silent as this “institute” continues to harass me even months after finishing the program. Unfortunately my time here was nothing to brag about or discuss. I only had one good teacher and unfortunately she left so I was out of an educator and went through multiple educators in a short amount of time. I have been coming here for a massage twice a month since 2014 and have never been disappointed! I enjoy completing the student evaluations and then getting the same student and noticing that they took my recommendations to heart. Every now and then we try some place else but we always return because of the professional way we are treated, the respectful draping, and the affordable prices. Give them a try you, you won't regret it!
