So I have used CJS for a full HVAC replacement at the end of July 2024. The initial instal was pretty botched; they left trash all over, they broke the cement pad the furnace sits on, they failed to correctly size the duct work that lines up with the new unit and slapped aluminum tape across the 2" gap instead, and instead or correctly placing the gas line they simply cut into the side of my brand new unit so they wouldn't have to do extra work. Called for cleaning - found cracked heat exchanger (why it was cycling) & showed me a picture he took with his camera. Anthony was on time & I received a text updates with appointment time both from the company & him “on way” & he was on time. Explained everything- impressed with their guarantees of better energy efficiency & cost savings. When I’m ready to replace it, I’d have no problem calling them. While we had a previous CJS technician out that resulted in some issues and concerns that would have made us want to leave a much lower star rating, that visit led us to phone calls with first Justin and then Joe. In talking to Joe, he handled the situation in the best way possible as a manager and allowed us to feel reassured CJS would come through for us. CJS Heating has been incredible from start to finish! After struggling for a week to find a company to resolve my HVAC problem, they came through when I needed it most. They quickly fit me into their schedule and showed genuine care through the process so far. The technicians are great. It's the office side that could improve. My service required ordering of parts. Three weeks went by without communication. I called and the office person said she would check and let me know by end of day the next day. Didn't happen. My future calls were answered by their automated system. Very frustrating.
